The Mastiff is a very big dog breed and they can produce a lot of slobber.  They tend to slobber and drool mostly after eating or drinking water.  If you don’t wipe it off their face, it will be all over your furniture and clothes.  This is one of those things that you deal with owning any kind of dog breed with big jowls.  I think it’s kind of cute, but some people think it’s pretty disgusting.

They make special wipes for dogs so that you can clean their faces.  This is always a good idea with your Mastiff since their jowls tend to get a bit stinky if you don’t clean them enough.
